
Dallas Stars Reduce Training Camp Roster by Seven

CEDAR PARK, Texas - The Texas Stars, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the Dallas Stars, announced today that Dallas has reduced its training camp roster by seven players, all of whom will report to Texas.
Dallas assigned six players to Texas: defensemen Jyrki Jokipakka, Patrik Nemeth and Jamie Oleksiak and forwards Brett Ritchie, Austin Smith and Matej Stransky.
Dallas also released defenseman Maxime Fortunus from his professional tryout contract.
Texas' training camp roster now stands at 30 players, including three goaltenders, 11 defensemen and 16 forwards. Dallas' training camp roster now stands at 29 players, including three goaltenders, eight defensemen and 18 forwards.
The Texas Stars will complete their pre-season schedule on Sunday, September 29th as they host the San Antonio Rampage for a 5:00 p.m. face off at Cedar Park Center.
