
Dallas Assigns Warren Peters To Texas

Cedar Park, TX -The Dallas Stars announced on Saturday that the club has assigned center Warren Peters to the Texas Stars, Dallas' primary affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).
Peters, 27, has skated in eight games for Dallas this season, recording one goal with a +2 rating. Peters has played 33 games for Texas in 2009-10, recording 19 points (13g, 6a) and 21 penalty minutes. The 6-0, 198-pound center signed with Dallas as a free agent on July 6, 2009.
Texas will host Abbotsford on Saturday, January 30th at 7:00 PM. The first 2,000 fans will receive a Texas Stars youth t-shirt. Also, fans may purchase the State Farm Family four-pack (four tickets, four sodas and four hot dogs for $44). On Saturday, Stars wives and girlfriends will be selling autographed pictures and pucks. All proceeds will be donated to the American Red Cross International Relief Fund for the Haiti disaster. The team heads to Peoria on Sunday, January 31st for a game at 6:00 PM and then to Milwaukee on Tuesday, February 2nd for a game at 7:00 PM. All games can be heard on the Stars flagship station ESPNAustin 104.9 FM "The Horn" or ESPNAustin 1530-AM.
