Tonight's Matchup: After enjoying a one day break to celebrate Thanksgiving, the Cyclones are back on the ice tonight to kick off a two-game weekend against the Indy Fuel. Cincinnati took the first-ever match-up between the two geographical rivals by a 3-1 score to open the nine-game season series.

Scouting the Fuel: Scott Hillman's club dropped a 2-1 shootout decision last night in a special Thanksgiving Day match-up with the Fort Wayne Komets and now sit four points back of Cincinnati with a record of 3-8-2-2. Robert Czarnik paces the Fuel in scoring, with 15 points in 14 games. Patrick Cullen has also been a strong contributor, with nine tallies in 15 contests. With Cody Reichard recalled to the AHL, Mac Carruth and Sean Bonar are the remaining netminders for Indy. Carruth, a Chicago Blackhawks prospect, has gone 0-2-1-2 with a 3.11 goals-against average while Bonar is 0-2-0-0 with a 6.50 GAA.

Last Time Out: Four straight third period goals by the IceMen helped them erase a 3-1 deficit and snag a 5-3 win over the Cyclones in front of 5,568 at U.S. Bank Arena on Wednesday night. Byron Froese and Josh Shalla continued their scoring ways in a losing effort, notching a pair of points apiece.

Plays Well With Others: The Cyclones have remained one of the least penalized teams all season long. Their 12.69 penalty-minute average per game is an ECHL-low and as a result have had to kill the fewest power plays of any team in the league.

Rule of Three: The number "three" has been a magic number for the Cyclones this season. They are a perfect 5-0 when holding opponents to three goals or less. Conversely, when Cincy scores more than three goals (4 or more), they are 4-0-0-1.
