Home Sweet Home

The K-Wings will be home for the holidays. Starting tonight, Kalamazoo will begin a four-game home stand.

Sharing the Puck

Kalamazoo is spreading the wealth on the man-advantage. So far this season, the K-Wings have scored 10 power play goals, all of which have come from 10 different players.

Moving Up the List

Last week was a milestone weekend for forward Justin Taylor. Last Friday, Taylor played in his 200th career game for Kalamazoo and on Saturday he surpassed former K-Wings forward Andrew Fournier (142 points) for fourth place (143 points) on the team's All-Time ECHL Scoring List.

Ending a Streak

Kalamazoo will head into this week looking to snap a streak. The K-Wings are winless (0-4-0-1) in their last five games.

Shutting the Door

Fort Wayne has been able to lock down Kalamazoo. In their last six periods the Komets have only surrendered one goal to the K-Wings.

Road Warriors

The Komets come into Wings Stadium with a road record of 7-2-0-0. The seven road wins ties Fort Wayne with the Florida Everblades for second most in the Eastern Conference and just one behind the Orlando Solar Bears for the conference lead.

Limiting Shots

Fort Wayne has been able to limit their opponents to 25 or fewer shots in five games this season. The Komets are a perfect 5-0-0-0 when they have been able to accomplish the feat.

Extra Time

Last night the Komets defeated the Indy Fuel 2-1 in a shootout. So far this season, Fort Wayne is undefeated in games that end in either overtime (1-0) or a shootout (3-0).
