ECHL Announces Fines, Suspension

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Friday announced the following fines and suspension.

Colorado's Duszynski fined, suspended

Colorado's Chris Duszynski has been suspended for two games and fined an undislcosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #159, Ontario at Colorado, on Nov. 26.

Duszynski was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for kneeing under Rule #50.5 at 14:14 of the second period. He is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Duszynski will miss Colorado's games against Ontario on Nov. 28 and Nov. 29.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Wheeling's Johnson fined

Wheeling's Chaz Johnson has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #158, Greenville at Wheeling, on Nov. 26.

Johnson was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for boarding under Rule #41.5 at 8:15 of the first period. He is fined under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
