Altoona Curve News Release
ALTOONA, Pa. & PALO ALTO, Calif. - TuneIn and the Altoona Curve, through the affiliation of both organizations with the MSA Sports Network, today announced that all Altoona Curve live game-day broadcasts will be made available through a dedicated station on the TuneIn Radio app, providing fans with additional means of listening to their broadcasts via more than 150 connected platforms including mobile devices, home audio systems, connected TVs and tunein.com.
MSA Sports has been the Altoona Curve's streaming affiliate for the last two years, and through their streaming of the Curve broadcasts, has been able to create a dedicated station link that will extend their streaming services through the TuneIn Radio application. The broadcasts will begin with tonight's game versus Richmond beginning with the pregame show at 6:35 p.m.
"We're excited to be able to offer this technology to Curve fans locally and around the globe," said Curve General Manager Rob Egan. "Now, in addition to listening to one of the Curve Radio Network stations and online through MSA's streaming, fans have a mobile option of following Curve broadcasts. It's a great service and we thank TuneIn Radio and MSA Sports Network for making it possible."
The TuneIn Radio app features a directory of more than 50,000 AM/FM and Internet-only radio stations and podcasts airing in 140 countries and broadcasting in 55 different languages, the largest selection of any radio app. The TuneIn Radio mobile app is available for the iPhone, iPad and all devices running on the Android, Windows Phone 7, BlackBerry and webOS operating systems, as well as a wide range of connected home audio devices and televisions.
