Coyotes Assign Turris to Rampage, Recall Yonkman

GLENDALE, AZ --- Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have assigned center Kyle Turris to the San Antonio Rampage, the Coyotes American Hockey League affiliate.

In 46 games with the Coyotes this season, the 6-foot-1, 185 pound Turris recorded 9-9-18 and 6 penalty minutes.

The Coyotes also announced that the Club has recalled defenseman Nolan Yonkman from the Rampage.

In 12 games with the Coyotes this season, the 6-foot-6, 253 pound Yonkman has collected 0-1-1 points and 24 penalty minutes. In 34 games with San Antonio, the 29-year-old native of Punichy, Saskatchewan registered 0-3-3 and 64 penalty minutes.

The Coyotes will battle the Nashville Predators tonight at the Bridgestone Arena. Game time is 6:00 p.m. Phoenix time.
