Peoria, IL--Goalie Jeremy Smith recorded his second shutout of the season to lead the Milwaukee Admirals past the Peoria Rivermen Saturday at Carver Arena, 3-0.

Smith stopped 24 chances and improved to 10-4-1 on the season.

The game started with a fight between Admirals forward Kelsey Wilson and Peoria's Ryan Reaves. The two were assessed fighting majors just two seconds into the game.

Wilson got his name on the scoresheet again when he scored his seventh goal of the season at 7:18 of the first period. Teemu Laakso's shot from the right point went off a defenseman's stick past goalie Jake Allen. Wilson reached behind Allen to put the puck into the goal. Laakso and Andreas Thuresson recorded the assists.

Milwaukee made it 2-0 just 2:50 later when Blake Geoffrion scored a power play goal. Jon Blum passed the puck from the left point to Roman Josi at the right. Josi's one-timer was deflected by Geoffrion for his 11th goal of the season, third on the power play. Josi and Blum notched the helpers. The assist extended Josi's points streak to 12 consecutive games, tied for the second longest in the AHL this season.

Gabriel Bourque completed the scoring with his ninth goal of the season with 2:18 to play. He received a pass from the left wing boards from Chris Mueller. Bourque fired a shot over the right shoulder of Allen. Mueller and Brett Palin were awarded the assists.
