Almond Recalled by Minnesota Wild

HOUSTON --- Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has recalled forward Cody Almond from the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Almond, 21 (7/24/89), has skated in five games with Minnesota this season. The 6-foot-2, 217-pound native of Calgary, Alta., has posted 27 points (12-15-27) in 52 games for the Aeros. Almond leads Houston with seven power-play goals, ranks second with 94 penalty minutes (PIM), tied for second in goals and fourth in scoring.

The Aeros visit Rockford on Saturday at 7:05 p.m. The team returns home on Tuesday, Feb. 22, against Milwaukee. Call 713-974-7825 (PUCK) for more information on Aeros tickets and other promotions.
