Wolves Release Dorich

The Chicago Wolves have released defenseman AL DORICH from his Professional Tryout Contract (PTO).

DORICH made his American Hockey League debut in the Wolves 4-3 victory over the Rockford IceHogs on Friday. He also has appeared in 17 ECHL outings with the Wheeling Nailers, Kalamazoo Wings, Gwinnett Gladiators, Ontario Reign and Elmira Jackals this season, notching one assist and 18 penalty minutes.

The Orland Park native spent four seasons at Northern Michigan University prior to turning pro, posting 17 points (17A) and 200 penalty minutes in 136 games from 2006 to 2010.

The Wolves host the IceHogs at the Allstate Arena on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
