Coyotes Assign Lisin To San Antonio

GLENDALE, ARIZONA -- Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Michael Barnett announced today that the Coyotes have assigned rookie right wing Enver Lisin to the San Antonio Rampage - the Coyotes' top minor league affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Lisin, 20, has registered 1-1-2 and 16 penalty minutes (PIM) in 17 games with the Coyotes this season. The native of Moscow, Russia was recalled by the Coyotes from San Antonio on Oct. 12 and made his NHL debut on Oct. 14 versus Nashville. Lisin scored his first NHL goal in a 6-4 Coyotes' win over Los Angeles on Nov. 4.

In 2 AHL games with San Antonio this season, the 6-foot-2, 190-pound forward has recorded 2-0-2 and 4 PIM.

The Coyotes selected Lisin in the 2nd round (50th overall) of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
