Boguniecki, Bouchard Called Up

Bridgeport Sound Tigers' forward Eric Boguniecki and defenseman Joel Bouchard were called up by the NHL parent club New York Islanders on Monday. Boguniecki, 31, scored three goals and added five assists in 12 games with the Sound Tigers. Boguniecki had the game-tying tally in the waning seconds to force overtime in Hartford on Saturday night. Bouchard, 32, picked up three assists in five games during a conditioning assignment.
