POINT TAKEN

The Wolves have earned 29 points through 21 games (14-6-1-0), the second-best start in franchise history. Only the Turner Cup Championship 1997-98 squad has posted more points though 21 games (30). Chicago currently sits atop the West Division, ranks second in the Western Conference and fourth in the AHL.

WOLF TRACKS

--- Sunday's loss against the Iowa Stars snapped a season-high three-game home winning streak for the Wolves; the squad, which has posted a 4-4-1-0 record at the Allstate Arena this year, will play each of its next four tilts on home ice.

--- Chicago has potted an AHL-high 98 goals this season, its most through 21 games in team history; linemates DARREN HAYDAR, JASON KROG and BRETT STERLING account for 50.0 percent of the club's markers (49 of 98).

--- KROG (43 points) and HAYDAR (41) have etched their names on the scoresheet more times than any other player in Wolves history through 21 games.

--- HAYDAR's 21-game point streak is still 11 away from matching the franchise record 32-game run former right wing ROB BROWN strung together in 1996.

--- The Wolves have allowed 18 goals and 121 shots in the last three games after holding their rivals to just eight markers and 70 shots in the previous three.

--- Chicago's nine wins during the month of November (9-3-0-0) is one shy of matching the club's franchise-best 10 wins in November of 1997.
