Kalamazoo Wings News Release
For the second-time this week and the final time in the regular season, the Kalamazoo Wings will face-off against the Wheeling Nailers. Today's game was originally scheduled for February 2nd, but was postponed due to weather and travel issues.
Snapping a four-game winless (0-3-0-1) last night with a 5-2 victory over the Evansville IceMen, the K-Wings will return home to Wings Stadium to commence a three-game home stand. Today is not only the final game of a three-game road swing for the Nailers, but it is their final road game of the regular season. Wheeling, who has dropped the first two games of the trip, are 9-21-2-3 away from the WesBanco Arena.

Sunday Hockey
Today will be the final Sunday regular season game for Kalamazoo. So far this season, the K-Wings are 4-5-2-0 on games played on Sunday.
Tragic Number
With two playoff spots remaining in the Eastern Conference, Kalamazoo's tragic number for not making the playoff is at one point. The one point can be a combination of a K-Wings loss or victories or overtime/shootout losses from the Greenville Road Warriors or the Toledo Walleye.
