Tonight's Matchup: The San Francisco Bulls (24-35-1-6) hit the road to take on the Bakersfield Condors (21-42-2-3), this evening, at Rabobank Arena. This is the 11th of 13 meetings between these teams this season, with the Bulls holding the edge in the season series 6-3-0-1.

Last Saturday San Francisco lost to the Stockton Thunder by a final of 4-1. Stockton jumped out ahead early, scoring three goals in the first 24 minutes of the game. The Bulls got on the board 11 minutes into the second period, when Nick Czinder scored a highlight reel goal deking around a defender. The lone assist went to Daultan Leveille. San Francisco put on the pressure in the third period, but the one goal would be all they would get. The Bulls held the edge in shots, 29-24.

The newcomers continue to impress as coach Pat Curcio looks to finalize the roster heading into the playoffs. Czinder scored his first professional goal, and his first in a Bulls uniform, the night after Leveille did the same. They both have a point in each of their first two games with the team. Forward Tommy Grant has served his two game suspension, and will be back in the lineup for Sunday's contest.

With Saturday's results, the Alaska Aces have clinched the Western Conference title and the first seed. In addition, San Francisco is now locked into the eighth seed, meaning that the two will officially be meeting in the first round of the playoffs. The series begins April 5 and 6 in Alaska. Dates at the Cow Palace for Games 3, 4, and, if necessary, 5 have yet to be determined.

This Wednesday, March 27, the Bulls return home to begin their final home series of the regular season. They will be taking on the Idaho Steelheads Wednesday and Friday, both at 7:15. Friday the Bulls will be celebrating fan appreciation night. The first 5,000 fans will receive a commemorative poster. Come out and celebrate the final two regular season home games of the season.
