DALY CITY, Calif. - Rookie Andrew Clark, playing in just his third professional game, collected a hat trick and goaltender Olivier Roy made 28 saves to lift the Stockton Thunder (36-26-9, 81 points) to a 4-1 victory over the San Francisco Bulls at the Cow Palace on Saturday.

The Thunder, who clinched home ice advantage after Colorado lost to Alaska, finished the regular season road schedule at 15-15-6 and beat San Francisco in the season series with a 7-5-1 mark.

Cameron Abney's fifth goal of the season put the Thunder ahead, 1-0 with 9:30 left in the first period when he converted Maxime Boisclair's centering pass from the left boards with a wrist shot past Taylor Nelson's glove.

With 30 seconds left in the period, Andrew Clark converted on a rebound at the crease for the first goal of his pro career and a 2-0 Thunder lead.

Clark extended the Thunder lead to 3-0 with his second goal of the game on a power play with four minutes elapsed in the second period. Shawn Weller whipped a pass from the right corner to Clark, who re-directed the pass over Nelson's glove.

San Francisco got on the board at 8:58 when Nick Czinder got his first career goal, maneuvering around the Thunder defense and burying a snap shot off the rush.

Clark completed the hat trick effort just 46 seconds into the third period when he cleaned up a rebound at the left post, set up by Shawn Weller for a 4-1 Thunder lead.

Nelson took the loss with 20 saves.
