
Cougars Washed Out On Monday

GENEVA, IL. - Monday night's series opener between the Kane County Cougars and the Fort Wayne Wizards at Elfstrom Stadium was postponed due to rain. It will be made up Tuesday afternoon as part of a doubleheader consisting of two seven-inning games. Game 1 will start at noon CT.
Travis Banwart (2-1, 2.35) is expected to pitch Game 1 for the Cougars followed by Jamie Richmond (1-1, 5.00) in Game 2. Fort Wayne's probables are Geoff Vandel (0-0, 7.27) and Wynn Pelzer (1-1, 5.28).
The Cougars (16-6), tied with Clinton for first place in the Western Division, are in the middle of a nine-game, 10-day homestand.
