
Corazzini leads P-Bruins to victory

Providence Bruins News Release
The Providence Bruins played on home ice for the first time in two weeks on Friday night at the Dunkin' Donuts Center, and skated to a 4-3 victory over the Lowell Lock Monsters. The win improved the team's record to 5-4-2-0 (12 points), putting them into a tie for second place in the Atlantic Division with the Manchester Monarchs.
Bruin right wing Carl Corazzini scored his third and fourth goals of the season, including the game-winner. The 24-year-old native of Framingham, Massachusetts has notched 4-1-5 totals over his last three games. Center/left wing Matt Herr and right wing Pat Leahy each netted his team-leading sixth goal of the season. Leahy has tallied six goals in his last six games, while Herr has points (6-6-12) in seven of his last eight games.
Goaltender Tim Thomas stopped 22 shots in the win and is 2-2-2 on the season.
The Bruins are back on home ice on Saturday night at 7:05 p.m., when they host the Bridgeport Sound Tigers for the first time this season.
