
Condors Win Fourth Straight with 5-1 Victory Over Ontario

ONTARIO, Calif. - C Adam Naglich picked up three assists to help the Bakersfield Condors (12-13-1-0, 25pts) take down the Ontario Reign (8-16-0-1, 17pts) by the final score of 5-1. The Condors earned their fourth straight win in front of 6,882 fans in Ontario on Saturday Night.
For the second straight night, the Condors struck first, and once again it was on the power play. C Joel Broda snapped a shot from the right circle that was deflected by RW Pascal Morency and sailed past the pad of G Beau Erickson to give the Condors a 1-0 lead at the 8:17 mark. Ontario evened the score when C Aaron Lewadniuk was awarded a penalty shot and beat G Josh Tordjman with just under two minutes left in the frame. The score was tied at one going into the first intermission.
The Condors regained the lead with their second power play goal of the night at of the middle frame. F Bobby Robins found a loose puck at the top of the goal crease and popped it home to put the Condors up 2-1, a lead they would hold for the rest of the period.
Bakersfield opened up a two goal lead with their second five-on-three goal of the night after a feed from F Slava Trukhno found C Pete Zingoni in front of the net. F Andrew Ianiero added his sixth goal of the season after a nice feed from LW Kyle Calder, and the Condors ran away after that as RW Stephane Goulet picked up his 11th goal of the year, and the Copndors cruised to a 5-1 victory.
Notes:
D Joey Ryan and RW Pascal Morency both left injured during the first period... RW Erick Lizon missed his second straight game due to a call up to the Worcester Sharks of the AHL...
