Condors Announce 2010 Playoff Roster

Bakersfield, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors, official ECHL affiliate of the Anaheim Ducks, have unveiled their playoff roster for the 2010 Kelly Cup Playoffs. The list includes 23 players, four of which are listed on the inactive roster, but are still eligible to play in the first round. Ten players on the post-season roster have been reassigned by the Anaheim Ducks. In addition, Ryan Donally, who is also an an Anaheim contracted player, and out for the season with an injury, is acting as assistant coach to Marty Raymond.

THE KELLY CUP PLAYOFFS:
The #2 seed Bakersfield Condors meet the #7 seed Victoria Salmon Kings in the National Conference Quarterfinals. The first round is a best-of-five format with the first two games being played in Victoria and games 3-5 in Bakersfield. The Condors went 6-4-0-1 against Victoria this season. This is the second time Bakersfield and Victoria will meet in the postseason. The Salmon Kings defeated the Condors four games to two in the National Conference Quarterfinals in 2008. The winner of the Bakersfield/Victoria series will face the winner of the Alaska/Stockton series.
ON THE DOCKET:
The Condors and Salmon Kings open up their series on Wednesday in Victoria for Game 1, and Thursday for Game 2. The series shifts to Bakersfield for Game 3 on Saturday, Apr. 10. Games 4 and 5, if necessary, will take place on Sunday and Monday, Apr. 11 and 12. The Condors get started with the Red Riot in the playoffs on Saturday night, encouraging fans to wear red to the game, and will hand out red Rally Towels to everyone in attendance, sponsored by ABC23, Goodwill Industries and Cal Water. In addition, red-clad Marvel Comics superhero Iron Man will be in the house to meet fans and pose in the Condors photo booth on Saturday.
