Elmira Organization Fined
April 6, 2010 - ECHL (ECHL) News Release
PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced on Tuesday that it has fined the Elmira Jackals organization an undisclosed amount for playing an illegal player in its 5-3 loss at Trenton on April 2.
The Jackals signed Rusty Masters to an Amateur Tryout Agreement (ATO) for a second time with the team which is in violation of ECHL Playing Rules which state a player may not sign an ATO with the same club twice in the same Playing Season.
