- First-ever playoff meeting between the two teams.
- Aaron Slettengren leads Charlotte against the Walleye with six points (1g-5a).
- Evan Rankin leads Toledo against the Checkers with eight goals and eight points.
- Chalotte tied a team record with 94 points this season.
- Game 2 is Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET at Charlotte.
