
Jackals Announce Acquisitions, Playoff

Elmira Jackals News Release
The Elmira Jackals announced on Tuesday that they have received forward Yannick Tifu back from their AHL affiliate, the Binghamton Senators, left winger Maxime Gratchev from the Rochester Americans, and defenseman Travis Gawryletz from the Lake Erie Monsters.
Tifu has recorded 56 points in 48 games with the Jackals since playing his first game on Nov. 20 after being acquired in a trade with Victoria in late October.
Gratchev has 41 points in 40 games with Elmira this season and has had extended stints in the AHL with Rochester and Binghamton. The rookie was one of the Jackals' two All-Stars this season.
Gawryletz last skated for the Jackals on Nov. 21 when he scored his first career game-winning goal against Wheeling in a 5-3 win. At the time of his loan, he was second in the league with a +15.

The Jackals will host the Everblades in the first round of the playoffs on Friday, Apr. 9 at 7:35 p.m., Saturday, Apr. 10 at 7:35 p.m., and Sunday, Apr. 11 at 4:05 p.m. The Jackals will open the series in Estero, Fla. on Tuesday, Apr. 6 and Wednesday, Apr. 7. The series is best-of-five, with the first two games in Florida and the last three in Elmira.
Individual game tickets for the playoffs are on sale to the general public. Tickets for each playoff game cost $20, $15, and $14 depending on seat location.
