
Cyclones Playoff Roster Announced

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL have announced their playoff roster for the upcoming Kelly Cup playoffs The Cyclones are the ECHL affiliate for the Montreal Canadiens and Nashville Predators of the NHL.
Each ECHL team can designate 23 players to its postseason roster. There are no additions that can be made to this list unless an emergency situation arises. The only players that can be utilized in those circumstances are those who completed the season with amateur standing (college or junior players are usually the norm). With the recall of Robert Mayer to the Hamilton Bulldogs (AHL)- the Cyclones will add Lee Lansdowne as an emergency backup goaltender.
For the Kelly Cup playoffs, the Cyclones will use 13 forwards, eight defensemen and two goaltenders. The breakdown of players and positions is located at the bottom of this release. The roster is subject to verification from the league office.
The Cyclones players have amassed 331 games of professional experience. Last season, the collective group had 148 games to go with 38 goals and 57 assists for 95 points. Three players (Mathieu Aubin, Barret Ehgoetz and Maxime Lacroix) have won championships- all of them Kelly Cup titles.

The Cincinnati Cyclones play host to South Carolina tonight (April 6) for a Big Beer Tuesday, with two dollar cans of Labatts, Molson and Molson Ice on sale. Tomorrow (April 7) the teams meet again in the second game of the best of five series at U.S. Bank Arena on a Wet Wednesday- with one dollar cans of Miller High Life and Pabst Blue Ribbon on sale. Game time each night is 7:30pm The teams then travel to Charleston for the remainder of the series with games scheduled Friday, Saturday and Sunday (if needed). The Cyclones postseason, sponsored by USA Collision Centers, has the road games carried by ESPN 1530. These games in South Carolina will start at 7pm.
