
Collins, Mullen Named to ECHL All-Star Game

FLORENCE, SC â The ECHL announced today the American Conference roster for the 2005 Coors Light/ECHL All-Star Game to be held in Reading, Pennsylvania on January 26, 2005. Two Pride players were chosen to represent the American Conference: Brian Collins and Mark Mullen.
The 24-year-old Collins is in his second professional season, and first with the Pride. He leads the Pride in goals (13), assists (14), points (27), and shorthanded goals (3), and he is tied for the team lead in game-winning goals (3).
The 23-year-old Mullen is in his first professional season. He ranks second on the Pride in goals (11), is tied for third in assists (10), and is second in points (21). His 21 points are tied for 17th among all ECHL rookies.
Collins and Mullen were teammates at Boston University from 2000-2003.
Pee Dee returns to action tomorrow night, hosting the Florida Everblades at 7:00 p.m. It's the first Thirsty Thursday of the season, with all draft beer just $2 at all civic center concession stands.
