Clinton Ranked 18th in Minor League Markets

Clinton, IA - Street and Smith's Sports Business Journal ranked Clinton as the #18 minor league market in the United States in their most recent publication. The survey looked at 235 markets across the nation with Clinton scoring in the top ten percent.

The project collected data from 408 teams across 47 leagues in minor league baseball, basketball, football, hockey and soccer. The survey then assessed each minor league market on franchise stability, attendance and local economy.

Since 2009, Clinton has steadily risen in the Sports Business Journal's biennial rankings. Clinton checked in at 68th four years ago, before improving to 37th in 2011. Clinton climbed another 19 spots in the most recent rankings.
