GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers are home for a brief - but important - three game homestand against the Peoria Chiefs from August 14 through 16. The Rattlers are on the fringe of the second half playoff chase and the Chiefs currently hold the Western Division Wild Card. The off field action will be just as hot with a pair of fireworks displays and a birthday party for Fang, the mascot of the Timber Rattlers. Hurry to get your tickets because only grass seats remain for Wednesday's game and tickets for Thursday and Friday are going fast.

Details of the promotions for the upcoming homestand are:

- WEDNESDAY, August 14 at 7:05pm; WIXX Bang for Your Buck Night; Thrivent Financial Night w/ Postgame Fireworks; Thrivent Financial Night features a special Wednesday night fireworks display after the game presented by Thrivent Financial. Bang for Your Buck with WIXX means $1 Cher-Make hot dogs, $1 Pepsi Products, and $1 Miller Beers!

- THURSDAY, August 15 at 7:05pm; Arty's Old Fashioned Thirsty Thursday presented by 95.9 KISS FM; Hardee's Night; Community Blood Center ‘Step Up to the Plate and Donate': Hardee's will have fun, coupons, and surprises for the whole family on Thursday. The Community Blood Center will be on hand to let fans know how they can Step Up to the Plate and Donate. Fans can also enjoy 16oz soda, beer, or Arty's Old Fashioned drinks for just $2 as part of Thirsty Thursday presented by Arty's Old Fashioned and 95.9 KISS FM.

- FRIDAY, August 16 at 7:05pm; North Shore Bank Family Night w/ Y100; Fang's Birthday; Postgame Fireworks; Postgame Kids Run the Bases presented by Molina Healthcare: Come on out to the ballpark to help celebrate the birthday of Fang, the mascot of the Timber Rattlers. Bring a non-perishable food item to donate to St. Joseph's Food Pantry and receive a slice of birthday cake as part of Cans for Cake. Enjoy the pregame mascot kickball contest before the game. The game will feature many regional mascots from business and sports teams. Kids 12 and under receive a free hot dog and soda as part of North Shore Bank Family Night. Children 14 and under may participate in Kids Run the Bases thanks to Molina Healthcare after the postgame fireworks display.

Fans are urged to purchase their tickets for these games in advance one of three ways: On-line at www.timberrattlers.com, over the phone at 800-WI-TIMBER, or in person at the Time Warner Cable Field Box Office. The box office is located at the stadium and is open at 9am Monday through Friday and 10am on Saturdays.
