TODAY'S GAME
The Calgary Hitmen close out a three-game weekend against the Oil Kings this afternoon up in Edmonton. Game time is 4:00 p.m. at the Downtown Community Arena. Edmonton skated to a 5-2 victory on Saturday on Tsuut'ina Nation. Jake Neighbours (2g, 1a) and Dylan Guenther (1g, 2a) both tallied three points each to lead the way. Scott Atkinson and Kaid Oliver added the other markers. Sean Tschigerl and Riley Stotts replied for the Hitmen who trailed 1-0 after the opening period and 2-1 after 40 minutes. Edmonton outshot Calgary 45-31 and received a 29 save performance from goaltender Sebastian Cossa while Brayden Peters turned aside 40 shots for the Hitmen. On the special teams front, the Oil Kings went 1-6 on the powerplay and killed all four Calgary chances.

The Kelowna, BC product has played 184 career games in the WHL to lead all Hitmen blueliners while notching 61 points (7g, 54a).
