
Busy Weekend for the K-Wings

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings of the United Hockey League announce that the Harold Zeigler Auto Group's K-Wings Karavan will be at the following locations the weekend of July 19-21st:
On Friday, July 19th, K-Wing players Mark Lawrence will join Athletic Trainer Scott Allison and Director of Marketing Patrick McVerry at the 12th Annual Kalamazoo Area Ronald McDonald House Golf Tournament at Pineview Golf Course. While the K-Wings team will try to defend their title from last year, the big winner with be charity, as all proceeds from the golf tournament will benefit the Western Michigan Ronald McDonald House.
Also on Friday, July 19th, The K-Wings zany mascot, Slappy will be participating in the AAA of Michigan Child I.D. Photo and Fingerprinting Day at Kalsee Credit Union at 2501 Millcork Street. From 10am-4pm, AAA will offer free I.D. Photo's and fingerprinting for kids. Slappy will be on hand to sign autographs from 11am-1pm.
On Saturday, July 20th, from 1-4 pm, Slappy and K-Wings forward Mark Lawrence will be with the K-Wings Karavan and Puck Shoot Booth, as the Kalamazoo Wings will proudly participate in the Taste of Battle Creek. The event will be held in downtown Battle Creek.
The K-Wings Karavan is a Dodge Caravan provided by the Harold Zeigler Auto Group designed to promote the K-Wings, the sport of hockey, as well as family fun. The Kalamazoo Wings will be cruising Western Michigan this summer promoting the sport of hockey and encouraging fans to "Get into the Game."
In addition to the K-Wings Karavan, the K-Wings and the Harold Zeigler Auto Group have also formed a partnership to bring fans the Kalamazoo Wings Puck Shoot Booth. This massive 16'x12' inflatable gives fans the opportunity to test their shooting skills against their favorite Kalamazoo Wings players.
