Bruce Graham Named To CHL All-Star Team

ALLEN, Texas - The Central Hockey League announced the reserves for the 2010 All-Star Team, and Americans alternate captain and 2004 New York Rangers draft pick Bruce Graham will be traveling to Laredo, Texas, for the All-Star Game Jan. 13. The reserves were selected by CHL All-Star Team Head Coach Kevin McClelland (Colorado Eagles), along with the CHL Hockey Operations Department.
Graham has 12 goals and 25 assists for 37 points in 28 games this season for the Americans. He is tied for ninth in the league in points, and the six-foot-six forward is +14 this year. He comes off a four-point weekend. This will be his first CHL All-Star game.
Graham joins teammate Justin Bowers on the CHL All-Star Team. Bowers was named to the starting lineup early this week.
"It's nice to see Bruce and Justin being recognized for their outstanding contributions to our team and helping us have a good start this year," Americans Head Coach and General Manager Dwight Mullins said Thursday.
The CHL All-Star Team is made up of players from all CHL teams with the exception of the Laredo Bucks, the Corpus Christi IceRays and the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees. The Bucks, IceRays and Killer Bees will combine to form the South Texas All-Star Team.
The Americans take on Wichita at 5:05 p.m. tonight on the road to close out 2009. The club then travels back home to host Colorado and Laredo at the Allen Event Center Friday and Saturday nights. Both home games begin at 7:30 p.m.

The Americans, the Dallas Stars' CHL affiliate, began play this fall in the newly built Allen Event Center in The Village at Allen.
