
Bruce Crabbe To Manage Sea Dogs This Weekend

Portland Sea Dogs News Release
Portland, Maine- Bruce Crabbe, Infield Coordinator for the Boston Red Sox, will manage the Portland Sea Dogs on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in New Hampshire. Sea Dogs' Manager, Arnie Beyeler will be attending his daughter Jordan's graduation out of town. Beyeler is set to return Monday, June 2nd in New Hampshire.
Bruce Crabbe enters his fourth year with the Red Sox and third as the Minor League Infield Coordinator. In 2006, he served as the manager for the Lowell Spinners. Prior to his career with the Red Sox, Crabbe spent seven years with the Texas Rangers. In the Texas Rangers system he served dual roles as a coach in Triple-A and manager for Single-A Pulaski. In 1999 he led Pulasaki to the best record in the Appalachian League and was named Manager of the Year. Crabbe played professionally in the Cubs, Blue Jays, and Braves organizations from 1984-1992.
The Portland Sea Dogs end their seven game homestand today at 12:00 PM against the Binghamton Mets. The Sea Dogs will travel to Merchantsauto.com Stadium in Manchester, New Hampshire to begin a four game series against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Blue Jays).
