Sunday, June 1 - City Island - Project Jump Start Rascal and the FanJam will be at the event throughout the day. Project Jump Start a Heart is holding a CPR and AED training session with Valarie Pritchett emceeing the event. It is being sponsored by Parent Heart Watch.
Friday, June 6 - Goodwill Silver Mile at Riverfront Park - 12pm to 1pm Rascal & Grrrounder will be competing against other mascots to help raise money for Goodwill.
Saturday, June 7 - The Pinnacle at Hershey Meadows 10am to 11am Two Senators players TBD, Rascal and the FanJam will be at the new Luxury Community to have brunch with potential residents.
Saturday, June 7 - New Cumberland Park (Challenger Baseball) 12:30pm to 1:30pm Grrrounder will be at the Challenger Baseball end of season picnic at New Cumberland Park to help congratulate all of the players.
Saturday, June 7 - Ciocca Honda - 1pm to 3pm Rascal will be at Ciocca Honda to sign autographs as a part of their dedicating the month of June to baseball.
Coming up on the next homestand: Tuesday, June 3 - Biker Night with Susquehanna Harley Davidson. A portion of the proceeds from the Biker Night Picnic will benefit MDA.
Sunday, June 8 - US Army Night. The Senators will wear Camo jersey's with the jersey's being raffled and auctioned off after the game. Proceeds will benefit the Harrisburg Recruiting Battalion Family Readiness Group.
To recap May thus far: The Senators have participated in the 22nd annual UCP Sports Memorabilia Auction. This year the auction raised over $40,000 which brought the 22 year total to over $1.1 million. On Sunday, May 4 the Senators paired up with the Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition as the team wore pink jerseys, then after the game some of the jerseys were auctioned off. There was also an in-game raffle for some of the jerseys as well. Between the auction and raffle, the Senators donated almost $3,000 to the PA Breast Cancer Coalition.
The Senators donations are nearing 500 since October with the team having donated either merchandise or tickets to over 470 local organizations thus far. During the past week, the team donated to 19 different businesses and organizations which were: American Cancer Society; American Legion Post 974; Blue Butterfly Fund; Channels Food Rescue; Children's Christmas Party; Community Action Program - Lancaster; Coolbaugh Memorial Tournament; Goldsboro Fireman's Club; Hummelstown Optimist Club; K & W TechPort; Matthew Brightbill Memorial; Mechanicsburg Middle School; Pennbrook Athletic Association; Ronny Powley Memorial Fund; Schuylkill Haven SD; Seven Sorrows BVM Parish; Susquehanna Art Museum; Triple Crown Corporation; Zion Lutheran Church
