Chesapeake Baysox News Release

Baltimore Orioles' Starting Pitcher Brian Matusz will take to the mound for the Bowie Baysox on Saturday night in a Major League Rehabilitation start. Matusz will return to Bowie for the first time since the 2009 season and will put his perfect 7-0 record with the Baysox on the line as he works his way back up to Baltimore.

In 2009, Matusz started eight games for the Baysox going 7-0 with a 1.55 ERA . He gave up just 31 hits in 46.1 innings pitched and only allowed eight earned runs during his time with Bowie.

It's your chance to welcome him back and see one of the Orioles top players take the field in Bowie! Don't miss out.

Saturday night features post-game FIREWORKS presented by Prince George's Community College and is also Basketball Night with a guest appearance by former Harlem Globetrotter Choo Smith!
