BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox announce a pair of roster moves today. OF Kyle Hudson was transferred to class Triple-A Norfolk and IF Buck Britton was transferred to Bowie from class Single-A Frederick. With the moves, the Baysox have 23 active players on their 24-man roster.
Hudson appeared in 13 games for Bowie, batting .268 (11-41) with two doubles, two stolen bases and two runs scored. He hit .348 (8-23) against right-handers.
Britton was promoted to Bowie after leading the Carolina League with 30 RBIs through the Frederick Keys first 39 games. Britton was batting .341 (31-91) for Frederick, with nine doubles and three home runs. He drew eight walks while only striking out seven times.
