
Rain Forces B-Mets Postponement

Binghamton Rumble Ponies News Release
BINGHAMTON, NY - The Binghamton Mets 7:05pm game against the Harrisburg Senators has been postponed due to inclement weather. The contest will be made up as part of a doubleheader at NYSEG Stadium on June 7 at 5:35 PM. The teams will play two seven-inning contests with gates opening at 5:00 PM for the twin bill.
Friday's rainout represents the sixth postponement this season for the Binghamton club and their fourth at home. The B-Mets had six postponements in the 2010 season, five of which came at home.
Ticketholders for tonight's game can redeem their ticket for a ticket of equal or lesser value to any future 2011 home game, excluding July 3rd and 4 th.
The B-Mets (13-24) will wait until tomorrow to kick off their series against the Senators (18-19) with first pitch set for 1:05pm. LHP Robert Carson (1-4, 3.96) will square off against RHP Brad Peacock (5-1, 2.13).
