Boron Returned from Rochester

Brampton, ON (March 7th) - The Wichita Thunder, proud member of the ECHL and powered by Toyota, announced today that goaltender Tim Boron has been returned from the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Boron received a call-up before yesterday's contest against Brampton, which ended his consecutive start streak at 11. He served as a back-up in last night's Americans win in Hamilton, which was also his first call-up of the season to the AHL. The Winnipeg, Manitoba native is tied for sixth in the ECHL in wins (20), fourth in minutes played (2,204) and sixth in saves (882).

Wichita is off tonight and will return to action on Sunday afternoon against Brampton with the opening face-off scheduled for 2 p.m. EST.
