
Everblades Agree to Terms with Goaltender Anthony Peters

ESTERO, FL -- Florida Everblades President and General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Greg Poss announced today that the team has agreed to terms with goaltender Anthony Peters (Photo courtesy of Saint Mary's University Athletics).
Peters,24, joins the Everblades from Saint Mary's University (AUS/CIS) where he posted a 16-7-0 record with a 2.30 goals against average, and a .928 save percentage this season. The 6-1, 195-pound netminder was recently named an Atlantic University Sport (AUS) first-team All-Star.
Peters totaled a 52-27-0 record with a 2.58 goals against average and a .911 save percentage during his four-year collegiate career with the Huskies from 2011-2015.
The Blyth, Ontario native played four seasons in the Ontario Hockey League from 2008-2011 in stints with the Kingston Frontenacs, Saginaw Spirit, Belleville Bulls, and Mississauga St. Michael's Majors.
Peters is the brother of former Everblades goaltender Justin Peters who is currently with the Washington Capitals (NHL) organization. JustIn Peters played with the Everblades from 2007-2008.
Peters will be available to play tonight when the Everblades battle the Greenville Road Warriors at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
