Quad City Mallards News Release
MOLINE, Ill. (March 7, 2015) - The Quad City Mallards have sent forward Todd Fiddler to the Ontario Reign to complete the trade that brought forward Mario Lamoureux to the Mallards earlier this season, the Mallards announced today.
Fiddler, a 21-year old rookie, scored 13 goals and totaled 27 points in 50 games with the Mallards this season. Before turning pro with the Colorado Eagles last spring, Fiddler spent just over four seasons in the major junior Western Hockey League.
Lamoureux has shined since joining the Mallards in exchange for future considerations in October. The third-year centerman, who has scored 17 goals in 55 games, ranks fourth in the ECHL in assists (49) and is tied for eighth in the league in points.
