Bobbleheads and Fireworks Highlight Max Poulin Night

WINNIPEG - After eight memorable seasons patrolling the Shaw Park infield, Max Poulin will have his No. 6 retired by the Winnipeg Goldeyes tomorrow night. In what's sure to be a memorable night, there's a lot in store for those attending the game.

Retirement Ceremony: Come early for the retirement ceremony at 6:45 p.m. where Poulin's number will be placed above the outfield wall to immortalize his contributions to the Goldeyes over the years. Poulin will also be on the concourse first the first couple innings to sign autographs.

Bobbleheads: For the first time in team history, the Winnipeg Goldeyes are giving away a player bobblehead - and what better player to do it for then Max Poulin' The first 2,000 fans through the gates at 6 p.m. will receive a free Poulin bobblehead. Fans can visit http://www.youtube.com/watch'v=HuDYzR2o_yk to see what the bobbleheads have been up to at Shaw Park.

Player Card and Eye Black: Nobody will walk away empty-handed Tuesday night, as every fan will go home with a souvenir Max Poulin player card. Also, in memory of his famous eye black, every fan will receive Max Poulin eye black stickers to wear during the game.

Fireworks: After having previous fireworks displays rained out, Archangel Fireworks is promising the post-game fireworks display on Max Poulin Night to be one of the best in Goldeyes history, and maybe the best fireworks display in Winnipeg this summer! Be sure to stick around following the game to see it.

Fans still looking for tickets for tomorrow's game better get them fast, as less than 600 tickets remain for the game.
