Blades Man-Handle Raiders 9-0 for Sixth Straight Win
December 11, 2022 - Western Hockey League (WHL)
Saskatoon Blades News Release
BLADES WIN: The Saskatoon Blades dominated the Prince Albert Raiders 9-0 for their sixth straight win! Saskatoon improves to 21-5-0-0 on the season, and are winners in nine of their last ten.
HATS OFF TO LISO: Forward Brandon Lisowsky showed everyone exactly why the Toronto Maple Leafs selected him at last year's draft. The 5-foot-9 forward scored a natural hat-trick in the win, and found the time to dish out a helper as well. The Port Coquitlam, BC product is now tied for the team lead in goals with 14 alongside linemate Egor Sidorov, who also scored two in this one.
STONE COLD ELLIOTT: Rookie goalie Austin Elliott earned his second career shutout stopping all 25 shots faced. It marks his 11th win of the season, and continues to dominate in his first year!
NEXT GAME: The Blades return home Tuesday Dec. 13 for their fourth meeting against the Medicine Hat Tigers this season.
Puck drop is 7:00 CST.
