Blades' Lemieux Recalled to AHL

ESTERO, FL- Florida Everblades President and General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Greg Poss announced today that forward Francis Lemieux has been re-called to the American Hockey League by the Connecticut Whale.

Lemieux heads back to the AHL for the second time this season having also played in two games with the Manitoba Moose in December. The 26-year-old heads to Connecticut with the ECHL's highest point total at 72. His goal total of 28 is tied for third most in the league and his assists total of 44 ranks second in the ECHL.

The Sherbrook, Quebec native returns to the AHL where he has spent the majority of his career. Lemieux has 251 career AHL games of experience with Hamilton, Grand Rapids and Manitoba since his rookie season in 2005.

The Everblades return to action on Saturday, February 26 when they travel to South Carolina to take on the Stingrays at 7:05 p.m. from the North Charleston Coliseum.
