Former Elmira Jackals goaltender Timo Pielmeier made his NHL debut on Saturday with the club's NHL affiliate, the Anaheim Ducks. Pielmeier became the 463rd player to play in the NHL after playing in the ECHL and is the fourth player to make his NHL debut after playing with the Jackals.

Pielmeier made seven saves on 12 shots in 40 minutes of playing time for the Ducks on Saturday in a 9-3 loss to the St. Louis Blues.
