It will be a President's Day matinee as the Kalamazoo Wings travel to the Queen City to tangle with the reigning Kelly Cup Champions, the Cincinnati Cyclones in the first of two straight meetings between the teams at the U.S. Bank Arena. On the season, the K-Wings are 5-2-1-0 versus the Cyclones.
Unbeaten in regulation in their last six games (5-0-0-1), the K-Wings enter the U.S. Bank Arena looking to close the gap further in the North Division. Kalamazoo starts the day four points behind division leaders, the Wheeling Nailers.
Kalamazoo isn't the only team looking extend an unbeaten streak. Cincinnati hasn't lost in regulation in their last four games, going 3-0-1-0 during that stretch. The Cyclones, who are currently in third place in the division four points behind the K-Wings, haven't played a game since Friday.
