
'Blades get two back from AHL

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades president & general manager Craig Brush, along with head coach Gerry Fleming announced today that goaltender Phil Osaer (oh-SAY-er) and defenseman Martin Lojek (LOW-jeck) have been assigned to the team from the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League.
Osaer returns to the Everblades roster after receiving a call-up on November 24 and playing in one game for the Americans, allowing three goals on 36 shots in a losing effort vs. Wiles-Barre/Scranton on November 25. The 25-year-old is currently riding a personal five-game winning streak with the Everblades, which includes picking up a 34-save shutout in his last start on November 23 at Columbia. Overall Osaer is 5-1-0 with a 2.44 goals against average and a .920 save percentage in six games this season with the âBlades.
Lojek comes back to the Everblades after spending two weeks with the Americans where he skated in one game on November 20 at Hershey. The 20-year-old native of the Czech Republic has picked up four points (1g, 3a) in five games with the Everblades this season.
In a separate move, the Everblades placed forward Sean Stefanski on the 7-day Injured Reserve list. As per team policy, the injury was not disclosed. The 22-year-old has played in six games with the Everblades this year, and has picked up 26 penalty minutes. The trip to the IR is the second this season for the native of Peterborough, Ontario
The Everblades return to action tonight when they take on the South Carolina Stingrays at 7:05 p.m. from the North Charleston Coliseum in Charleston, SC. Everblades 2005-06 group tickets and individual game tickets are on sale now!
