Saskatoon Blades News Release
Red Deer, Alta. - The Saskatoon Blades completed a trade during Thursday's WHL Bantam Draft.
The Blades sent '02 defenseman, Kurtis Smythe, to the Portland Winterhawks in exchange for the 70th over pick in the 2018 draft. The pick was then used to select defenseman, Charlie Wright, from the Red Deer Bantam AAA Rebels.
