
Bennett Signs With Gwinnett

The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that forward Josh Bennett has signed with the team. Bennett, a native of Ottawa, ON last saw action in the ECHL last season when he played in two games with Gwinnett.
Over the course of his career, Bennett has played in 125 ECHL regular season games with the Gladiators, Louisiana IceGators, Mississippi Sea Wolves, Augusta Lynx and Peoria Rivermen.
Bennett has totaled 26 points on 11 goals and 15 assists. The 6-foot and 205- pound left winger notched 2 goals and 4 assists with Gwinnett in 33 games during the 2005-06 season.
Bennett, who was on the Gladiators' training camp roster, should be available as the Gladiators play host to the Charlotte Checkers tonight at the Arena at Gwinnett Center.
The Gladiators continue their fifth anniversary season on Tuesday, April 1st as they host the Charlotte Checkers at the Arena at Gwinnett Center at 7:05 p.m. Catch all the play-by-play action in Tuesaday's game on WDUN, News Talk 550.
