Johnstown Chiefs News Release

Johnstown, PA - For the final episode of "The Pow-Wow," host, and voice of the Chiefs, Ray Schmitt will be joined by a pair of rookies; Alex Imbeault and Vincent Zaore.

A center from Montreal, Quebec, Imbeault is having a banner rookie season. He is averaging better than a point per game and sits third on the team with 57 points (22g, 35a) in 53 games. Imbeault was chosen as the Chiefs' representative for the ECHL All-Star Game, but was playing with the Providence Bruins of the AHL when the game was played on January 23.

Zaore, from Saint-Foy, Quebec, has been having an interesting rookie season as well. He began his rookie campaign as a defenseman, and focused on being a solid stay-at-home defender. His offensive numbers showed that, as he registered his first point on November 16, and didn't get his first pro goal until December 28. But injuries and call-ups forced Zaore to become a forward halfway through the season, and his numbers started to pick up. Since the beginning of February, Zaore has five goals and four assists.

"The Pow-Wow" will be held this Thursday, April 3 at the Lower Works Restaurant and Pub at the Johnstown Brewing Company. The half-hour show will begin at 7:30 PM, and the players will stick around to meet and greet fans after the show. A recording of the live show will be available at www.johnstownchiefs.com the next day.

The Chiefs will take to the ice at the War Memorial on Friday, April 4 against the Wheeling Nailers for the final time this regular season. Faceoff is set for 7:05 PM, and the Chiefs will be holding their Fan Appreciation Day where there will be numerous giveaways throughout the night. Great seats are still available for the game and can be purchased by calling the War Memorial Box Office at 814-536-5156 or by going to www.johnstownchiefs.com.
