Miller Returns From AHL Milwaukee

PHOENIX, Ariz. - The Phoenix RoadRunners of the ECHL, a proud affiliate of the San Jose Sharks and the Worcester Sharks, have announced that defenseman Gerard Miller has been returned to the club from the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.

Miller, 25, appeared in five games with the Admirals and collected one assist. The fourth-year professional and Cold Spring Harbor, N.Y. native has eight games in the AHL this season to his credit after spending a two-game stint with the Hamilton Bulldogs and skating in one contest with the Binghamton Senators earlier in the year.

Miller has four goals and 22 points and a team-high plus-18 rating in 38 games season between the RoadRunners and Cincinnati Cyclones.

Phoenix returns to US Airways Center for their final home-stand of the regular season when they welcome the Las Vegas Wranglers at 7:11 p.m. Tuesday.

The RoadRunners are currently tied for the eighth and final playoff spot in the National Conference with the Stockton Thunder. Both teams trail the seventh seed Bakersfield Condors by four points.
