Gwinnett's Stoesz Suspended Three Games, Fined

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced that it has suspended Gwinnett forward Myles Stoesz for three games and fined him an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #841 at Florida on Mar. 28.

Stoesz was assessed minor penalties for instigating and roughing, two major penalties for fighting, a misconduct penalty for continuing an altercation, a game misconduct for a third major penalty and a game misconduct for secondary altercation at 4:48 of the third period.

He is suspended and fined under Rule 29 Supplemental Discipline.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Stoesz missed Gwinnett's game at Florida (Mar. 29) and will miss games against Charlotte (Apr. 1) and at Columbia (Apr. 4).
