John Slaney scored the game winning goal in overtime to spoil a good outing from Peter Budaj as the Phantoms edged the Bears 2-1 in overtime at First Union Spectrum. Travis Brigley scored the only goal of the game for HERSHEY early in the second period on a four on three power play. The loss snapped a five game winning streak against Philadelphia.

The two teams meet again Saturday night at GIANT Center at 7:00. Less than 600 tickets remain for the contest, the final meeting of 12 between the two teams. The game can also be heard on BIG 92.7 FM.
